Wholesale & Trade Program
Kataleia is a B2B wholesale program for the floral trade. We connect verified businesses directly to partner farms in Ecuador and Colombia, so the fresh-cut roses you order are cut to order at origin and shipped to your door on a continuous cold chain. This page explains who qualifies, what you get, and how to open a trade account.
Who qualifies
Kataleia sells to verified U.S. businesses only. We do not sell to consumers. Trade accounts are reviewed and approved before activation. You likely qualify if you operate as one of the following:
- Retail and studio florists
- Event and wedding designers
- Floral studios and design houses
- Venues that produce floral in-house
If you are unsure whether your business fits, ask us at info@kataleia.com before you apply.
Why buy through Kataleia
- Farm-direct sourcing. Stems come straight from partner farms, with no importers or wholesalers in between. They are cut to order after you place an order, not pulled from a cooler.
- Company catalog pricing. The public catalog shows base wholesale list prices. Once your company account is approved, every product displays your assigned company catalog price, with per-stem and per-box math shown.
- Spec-level detail. Each product lists its own lead time and specifications so you can plan installs and orders with confidence. Roses are sold by the bunch in bunches of 25 stems, with a one-box minimum.
- Cold-chain delivery. A continuous cold chain runs from origin to your door, with tracked shipments and a typical 12-plus day vase life, backed by a freshness and quality guarantee.
How approval works
Opening a trade account is a short, three-step process:
- Request access. Submit your business details through /request-access.
- Verification. Our team reviews your business to confirm you are an eligible trade buyer.
- Account & catalog assignment. Once verified, we activate your company account and assign your company catalog pricing. You sign in to see your prices and place orders.
What you'll need
To speed up verification, have your core business details ready when you apply:
- Legal business name and the type of business you operate
- Business address and shipping destination
- A business contact name, email, and phone number
- Any business registration or resale documentation that confirms you are a trade buyer
Founding-buyer onboarding
As we launch, we are onboarding a first group of founding buyers and working closely with each one to set up their account, walk through the catalog, and tune ordering around their production calendar. If you want hands-on onboarding as an early Kataleia customer, apply now and mention that you are interested in founding-buyer onboarding.
How ordering works once you're approved
After approval you sign in, see your company pricing, and order by the bunch with a one-box minimum. The weekly cutoff is Thursday 9 PM ET; stems are cut Friday, and most studios receive their boxes Monday or Tuesday. Typical lead time is 4 to 5 days from order to delivery, and each product lists its own lead time.
